I seldom meet people who haven't struggled to know that the God of the universe loves them and longs to walk with them through life. It is my greatest desire to speak that message far and wide! Throughout the Bible, the story we find over and over again is one in which people who are going about their everyday lives are interrupted by God calling them into relationship. Adam and Eve, fallen, hiding, suddenly aware of their nakedness, when God comes strolling through the Garden and calls them out into the open. Hagar was hiding. Moses was herding goats. Gideon was in a wine press threshing grain. Mary was at home. Peter was fishing. They never suspected God knew their name, let alone wanted to invite them into the adventure of life walking with their creator.
